Stacey Hughes (Chief Marketing Officer) was previously a Managing Director of Société Générale, in charge of interest rate and currency derivative solutions for corporate clients in North and South America (1998 – 2009). Ms. Hughes has extensive experience structuring sophisticated financial transactions, particularly within the project finance and infrastructure space. Previously, Ms. Hughes worked in the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions groups at Salomon Brothers. She has a B.S. in Finance from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Edouard Klehe (Chief Operating Officer) was previously a Managing Director of Société Générale, where he ran the Structured Credit and Principal Finance group. Mr. Klehe has more than 10 years of experience working in various senior trading, investment and structuring roles, where he developed extensive expertise in structuring financial investments both for the bank’s own account and for its customers. In addition, he has managed portfolios of corporate and project finance bonds, asset-backed securities, and alternative investments. He received a Masters degree from H.E.C. School of Management in Paris.
Jay Mann (General Counsel) was previously the Director of Structured Finance at Soltage, Inc., a solar development company. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Société Générale, running the tax advisory and investment group; Director of Structured Finance at Goldman Sachs; Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, Manager at Deloitte & Touche; Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Tax Division of the Department of Justice supervising federal appellate tax litigation. Mr. Mann has a JD from Harvard Law School, an MBA from Columbia University, and a BA from Cornell University.
David Wolf (Chief Financial Officer) was previously a Director of Société Générale, in the Structured Credit and Principal Finance group. He has more than 13 years of finance experience having worked at the RBS, Citibank, and Goldman Sachs in various proprietary investment, marketing and structuring roles. He has managed multi-billion dollar portfolios of project finance bonds and alternative investments. Prior, he worked as an actuarial consultant to large pension funds. Mr. Wolf has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, a BA in Economics from Yeshiva University, a CFA, and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.
Bill Zachary (Director of Municipal Finance) was previously a Managing Director of Société Générale, where he ran the Municipal Finance Group. Mr. Zachary has nearly twenty years of experience structuring municipal transactions, including highly complex tax-exempt natural gas pre-pay financings, military housing privatizations, and a wide variety of derivative transactions. Before joining Société Générale in 1993, Mr. Zachary worked in the Public Finance Department at Smith Barney. He has a B.A. from Harvard College and attended the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Joe Shipley (Associate) was previously a consultant with Riverside Risk Advisors, a leading boutique derivatives advisor to private equity funds and project finance sponsors. Prior to working in finance, he served as business administrator in a construction firm, where he gained technical expertise and project management experience. He has a BA from Indiana University.
Stephen Goodbody (Director of Projects and Engineering) was previously the Vice President of Soltage, a Northeastern developer and owner of solar projects, where he ran the projects, engineering and operations group. Steve has over 21 years of experience in large-scale facilities operation and infrastructure design and construction projects and has executed over one hundred new construction and retrofit projects in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing and bio-containment facilities, banks, hospitals, schools, municipal facilities and office complexes. With a background in operations and engineering within the semiconductor industry, Steve has a wealth of experience in planning and executing complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects around critical ongoing operations. He has worked on projects in Europe, Asia and throughout the USA for the BOC Group, Northrop Grumman, and Johnson Controls. He is a UK Chartered Engineer and is a member of both the UK Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He holds an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University, Birmingham, UK. In 2008 he published and presented a paper concerning the solar photovoltaic industry at the ASME International Conference for Energy Sustainability in Jacksonville, FL.
Peter Dubro (Projects and Engineering Manager) was previously a Senior Project Design Engineer at Uni-Solar and a Senior Energy Engineer at Solar Design Associates. He has more than 8 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry. He has served as engineering lead and project manager on projects utilizing a variety of technologies including thin film and crystalline in-ground, ballasted rooftop, custom canopy, and architectural integrated applications. He is experienced in large and small-scale on and off-grid photovoltaic design and application as well as extensive experience in site evaluation, data acquisition, and commissioning. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a MS in Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of NJ.
Stephen Schneider (Operations Manager) was previously Director of Operations at Pfister Energy, a New Jersey based solar integrator. He has five years of experience with a variety of innovative renewable energy projects including participation in over 15 MW of solar installations. He has held leadership positions in Business Development, Project Engineering and Management, and Operations and Maintenance. Stephen has worked with a number of leading commercial, institutional and governmental clients in order to develop, deliver and maintain solar projects. Prior to entering the solar industry, Stephen spent over ten years in the finance and construction industries. He holds a BS in Electronic Engineering and an MBA, both from Monmouth University, and is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer.
Mark Helmka (Operations and Maintenance Electrician) previously spent four years with Pfister Energy, a New Jersey-based commercial solar energy contractor. As electrical foreman during construction on several military bases throughout the country, he oversaw the construction of 13 MW of installed capacity. Mark began his eight years of electrical experience with Star-Lo Electric, before moving on to T-Tech Electric, where he headed up the Electrical O&M unit at a large department store. Previously, Mark spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps, and is an Iraq War veteran.
Steve Termotto (Operations and Maintenance Engineer), was previously with BAM Energy Group, a New Jersey based commercial solar construction and industrial electric company. Serving as project engineer, construction supervisor, construction manager, and site superintendent, he participated in the installation of over 12 MW of installed capacity. He has five years of experience in leadership roles, including project management, procurement, and personnel coordination. Prior to entering the solar industry, Stephen worked in both residential and commercial construction. While attending Rowan University, he studied Business Administration.
