Peter Dubro, as SunLight’s Director of Projects and Engineering, oversees all technical aspects of new project development. He was previously a Senior Project Design Engineer at UniSolar and a Senior Energy Engineer at Solar Design Associates. He has more than ten years of experience in the photovoltaic industry. He has served as engineering lead and project manager on projects utilizing a variety of technologies including thin film and crystalline in-ground, ballasted rooftop, custom canopy, and architectural integrated applications. He is experienced in large and small-scale on and off-grid photovoltaic design and application as well as extensive experience in site evaluation, data acquisition, and commissioning. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey.

Stephen Schneider, SunLight’s Director of Operations and Maintenance, is responsible for optimizing the performance of SunLight’s 60-plus MW solar portfolio. As an engineer, Stephen is also deeply integrated into all technical areas of new project development and due diligence. He was previously Director of Operations at Pfister Energy, a New Jersey-based solar integrator. He has over ten years of experience with a variety of innovative renewable energy projects including participation in over 40MW of solar installations. He has held leadership positions in business development, project engineering and management, and operations & maintenance. Prior to entering the solar industry, he spent over ten years in the finance and construction industries. He holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering and an MBA, both from Monmouth University, and is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer.

Mark Helmka, an electrician with SunLight’s O&M team, works to ensure peak functionality and operation of SunLight’s portfolio of over 125 solar installations. Before joining SunLight, Mark spent four years with Pfister Energy, a New Jersey-based solar energy integrator. As electrical foreman during construction on several military bases throughout the country, he oversaw the construction of over 13MW of installed solar capacity. Mark began his eight years of electrical experience with Star-Lo Electric, before moving on to T-Tech Electric, where he headed up the Electrical O&M unit at a large department store. Previously, Mark spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Iraq War.
