In January 2024, SunLight closed a deal with capital provider NYCEEC to finance additional solar projects in Washington, D.C. Following the loan closing, project development was initiated at two apartment buildings, marking the inception of another joint venture for SunLight General Capital and the National Housing Trust. The solar arrays are poised to reduce electricity expenses for 195 apartments within the District of Columbia, promising tangible financial benefits and advancing the city's renewable energy transition.
